The Springerle House On Main
Stop in for a taste of Lancaster County’s past.
For more than 100 years, the Springerle House has carried on a tradition of making Springerle cookies. First introduced to Lancaster County in circa 1710, the cookies have historically been used as betrothal tokens, tellers of tales and to celebrate daily life.
Located in an 18-century brick house just east of the Strasburg square, the Springerle House sells hand-painted ornaments, cookie molds, tea ware, a selection of unusual and delicious cookies, as well as German nutcrackers and smokers.
